Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

As with most african cities, i didn’t take my camera around when i was sightseeing -.-. But neways, here’s a few, though not that special, but they do no justice for the city or the country! one note: addis ababa is about 2500m above sea level, so it actually took my lungs a day to get used to the altitude and thinning air.
what’s interesting about this picture is that i stayed int eh nicest hotel in the country. Ethiopia is a very, very poor country, and you’ll notice that there’s such poor neighborhood’s even just across the street from the hotel in the pictures below
the hotel itself was much nicer than the room
